Teacher Workshops
Etching Workshop
Research Renaissance prints from the
A Beautiful Line exhibition at the Art Gallery of SA and use graphic elements of the
exhibition prints to create source images which will be translated into intaglio prints using
copper plates and Magnani paper.
Led by artist, Dianne Longley, workshop participants will be immersed in traditional
printmaking techniques, using safe work processes, in a professional studio environment. Each
participant will produce a small edition of prints incorporating line and tone.
Dates: Monday, 4 - Tuesday, 5 October
Time: 10.00am-5.00pm
Cost: $360, includes all printmaking materials, refreshments and lunches
Location: The Print Studio, Welland
Max: 6 participants

Teaching sessions for school teachers R-SACE are available and are conducted by the
Education Officer by arrangement.

Cultures – cultural identity, belief systems and traditions

Technology – art documenting technological change and art as the product of technology
Science – art and artists extending understanding of the changing earth, the cycles of life
and living, the material world and relationships with nature

site.
